  • Lost functioning below his right shoulder in a motorcycle accident at the age of 17. Later fell in love with darts while attending a vocational school, to the point where he trained, while working full-time, to be a professional dart player. Learned about the Paralympic Games while watching the news one day. He looked up shooting at the Paralympic Games, influenced by his grandfather, who was a hunter, and began training for the sport in 2014. Acquired an air pistol permit in October 2016, and in November of the same year, competed for the first time in a national tournament. Grew into a top-class shooter in Japan, and competed in his first international tournament, the World Cup (Bangkok) in November 2017. Fulfilled the minimum qualification standard for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games at the World Championships (Jeonju) in May 2018, and also competed in the Indonesia 2018 Asian Para Games the same year. His goals are to build up experience in domestic and international tournaments and compete in the Tokyo Paralympic Games, advancing to the finals and winning a medal.
