  • B3 Class. Born with poor vision as a result of albinism. Started judo after joining a judo club in junior high school, and competed in his first international tournament at the IBSA World Championships and Games Quebec in 2003. Competed in the London Paralympic Games in 2012. Won a silver medal in the Seoul 2015 IBSA World Games, amongst other achievements. Has been the star of the Men’s 60kg Class in Japan, winning at qualifying competition in 2017 for the IBSA Judo World Cup, Asian Para Games and the IBSA World Championships and Games. Works as a teacher at his alma mater, the Kumamoto School for the Blind.
