Physical disabilities? Visual impairments? Not enough to stop these tenacious rowers from claiming a spot at the Paralympics. In this sport, athletes can compete in events such as 'coxed four' which is comprised of four crews (rowers) and a cox who is the navigator, 'double sculls' for pair rowers, and 'single sculls' for solo rowers. Competitions take place on a straight lane measuring 1000m, and results are calculated based on the order in which the front tip of the boats touches the finish line.
